HAPPIEE!'s expansion taps into the rising demand for sustainable food choices. A recent survey shows that 35% of UK consumers are increasingly concerned about declining fish stocks and the environmental impact of seafood consumption.

Plant-based seafood products, like HAPPIEE!’s range, offer a way to enjoy seafood without contributing to overfishing or habitat degradation.

“As we expand into Sainsbury’s and Morrisons, we are excited to bring our innovative products to even more consumers across the UK. Our mission is to make sustainable, plant-based eating an easy and enjoyable choice for everyone. We believe our range offers something unique in the market, and we can’t wait to see how these new listings will drive further growth and awareness for our brand,” says Rosie Bambaji, Commercial Director at HAPPIEE!

With the plant-based seafood market growing by 39% annually, HAPPIEE!’s entry into the UK supermarket sector is a key step in shifting consumer preferences towards more sustainable protein sources. As concerns over fish stocks and seafood sustainability rise, HAPPIEE! is well positioned to ride the waves of change with its seafood range.
