How Grill’d May Help Beyond Survive in Australia

Grill'd Beyond Visual Media

Plant-based burgers in Australia just got juicier.

Grill’d has signed a national partnership with Beyond to launch the Beyond Burger IV - the fourth-gen patty now boasting avocado oil, 20 grams of plant protein, and a clean label free of soy, gluten, and GMOs. For Beyond, whose share price has been battered globally, the deal is more than just another menu slot, it’s a potential lifeline. Grill'd has 173 burger outlets Australia wide.

Australia’s appetite for flexitarian eating is real. Food Frontier data shows 39% of Aussies are actively cutting meat, while 19% already identify as flexitarians. Grill’d, with its national footprint and savvy marketing, might just be the partner Beyond needs to prove it still belongs in the protein game Down Under. The real question though is will Aussie diners bite often enough to keep Beyond afloat?
