Dubai, Jan 26–30, 2026 marks the launch of Gulfood 2026, the world’s largest annual food & beverage show, bringing together thousands of global exhibitors across food categories, from traditional products to cutting-edge food tech and plant-centric innovation.

Hosted at Dubai World Trade Centre and Expo City Dubai, Gulfood’s extensive exhibitor platform includes producers of fresh fruits & vegetables, plant-based specialty foods, alternative dairy and free-from ranges, and breakthrough food science startups - reflecting both consumer demand for healthier, cleaner fare and industry investment into future food systems.

The new Gulfood Startups platform spotlights 250+ early-stage innovators across food tech disciplines from alternative proteins and precision fermentation to AI-powered production systems and sustainable supply chain tech, signalling clearly the food industry’s next frontier is as much about science and digital transformation as about flavour and nutrition.

Plant-based products and natural health foods are featured throughout the event, with exhibitors such as 1st Vegan GmbH and a range of plant-based offerings like Quiq’N (high-protein, plant-based clean soups) on the official list, underscoring the mainstreaming of plant-centric food categories at global trade shows.

Market and export trends are also evident with India participating as a Partner Country with 160+ agricultural and food exhibitors showcasing processed foods, pulses, frozen products and technology solutions, reinforcing the continued expansion of Asia-Middle East food trade corridors and export-oriented innovation.
