Steakholder Foods & Bondor Foods Sign Deal to Launch 3D-Printed Fish & Meat

Steakholder Foods global leaders in 3D-printed protein production, has entered a commercial sales agreement with Bondor Foods, a frozen food manufacturer and distributor. The deal enables Bondor Foods to produce white fish kebabs and salmon patties using Steakholder Foods’ proprietary plant-based premixes for 3D -printing, marking a significant shift towards large-scale manufacturing.

This partnership highlights Steakholder Foods’ innovative approach to food production through bioink-based 3D printing technology, blending cutting-edge food tech with Bondor Foods’ established market distribution.

Production of the new plant-based fish products is expected to begin by the end of 2024, catering to the growing demand for sustainable alternatives to traditional seafood.

Arik Kaufman, CEO of Steakholder Foods, remarked, "This agreement validates the market potential for plant-based seafood alternatives and our collaboration with Bondor Foods."
