About the Recipe
There's nothing like a freshly made tomato sauce either as prepared or cooked
Ingredients
1 can organic diced Italian tomatoes
2 tsp organic tomato concentrate
2 whole fresh tomatoes
1sp Italian herbs
1 medium clove of garlic –peeled
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp lime juice
3 tsp coconut palm syrup
S&P to taste
Preparation
Step 1.
Blend all the ingredients in a smoothie maker until a smooth consistency is achieved. Taste to ensure your sauce is sweet and salty enough. You can use as is or gently simmer to concentrate flavours.
Step 2.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 10 days and use as required.
