About the Recipe

Enjoy This Easy To Prepare & Tasty High Plant Protein Dish


1 tablespoon of oil

1 onion, chopped

3 garlic cloves, minced

1-tablespoon grated ginger

1-tablespoon curry powder

1-tsp ground cumin

1/2-tsp ground coriander

1/4-tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

2 cans cooked chick[eas, drained & rinsed

1 can diced tomatoes

1 can coconut milk

Salt & pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro (coriander) - optional


  • Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan or Dutch oven over medium heat.

  • Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5-minutes

  • Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1-minute until fragrant

  • Add the curry powder, cumin, coriander and cayenne (if using) and cook for 1-minute

  • Add the chickpeas, tomatoes and coconut milk. Bring yo a simmer and let cook for 10-15 minutes until flavours have melded together and the sauce has thickened

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste

  • Serve over rice or Naan bread and top with the frsh cilantro (coriander) if desired.
